Nina Simone "Pastel Blues" [All Analog 180g Reissue Vinyl] [Verve Acoustic Sounds Series]

Label: Verve/Philips (1965)

Format: LP Vinyl

Genre: Jazz, Funk, Soul

1965 was quite a year for Nina Simone as two of her defining records got released in the same year. This could just as easily be the ONE Nina record you need in your collection. Includes the classic "Sinnerman" as featured in Peaky Blinders plus "Strange Fruit" and "Chilly Winds Don't Blow"

This Verve Acoustic Sounds Series is not to be missed. Amazing music, incredible sound, and wonderful packaging! At a fair price!

One small complaint, the original is on Philips and it would have been nice to have the original sleeve and label design.

Chad Kassem has been a friend for 15 years now and provided inspiration for me to re-launch vinyl at Warner Bros., back in 2004-2005! This Verve Label Group series is happening because of his passion for sound and quality.
