Andrew Loog Oldham was the manager and producer of The Rolling Stones from 1963-1967. He also created The Andrew Oldham Orchestra and in 1965 the Stones, with additional London session players (including Steve Marriott on harmonica) recorded instrumentals of their biggest hits of the day.
Their version of "The Last Time" is the now the infamous sample used by The Verve on "Bitter Sweet Symphony". Other selections include "(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction", "Time Is On My Side", "As Tears Go By" + more.
